June Stanton Scudder, 78, wife of the late William L. Scudder and a resident of Heritage Hall Healthcare, formerly of Belle Haven, VA, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Owen Stanton and the late Viola Hoffman Stanton.

Survivors include a sister, Marie Forsten and her husband, Frank, a brother, William Stanton and wife, Veronica, all of North Port, FL, step-daughter, Mary Ellen Rubin and her husband, Joseph, of Winston Salem, NC; two step-grandsons, Christopher and Robert Rubin, both of Winston Salem, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday January 13, 2012 at 12:00 PM from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Reverend Alex Joyner officiating.
