Pauline Widgeon Lewis

Pauline Widgeon Lewis, 81, wife of Vernon A. Lewis and a resident of Cheriton, VA, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Eastville, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Widgeon and the late Katherine Eder Widgeon. She was retired from Bayshore Concrete, a member of Cheriton Baptist Church, loved gardening, fishing, cake decorating and rehabilitating injured animals.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a son, Gregory Hardesty of Cheriton; a brother, Randolph Widgeon of Willis Wharf, VA; a sister, Fannie Belote of Quinby, VA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be conducted Monday, December 23, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Cape Charles Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Charles Peterson officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Cheriton Baptist Church, Post Office Box 227, Cheriton, VA 23316.
