Robert David Quigley

February 24, 1944 — February 10, 2020

Robert David Quigley, 75, husband of Susan Peden Quigley and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020, at his residence. A native of New York City, NY, he was the son of the late David W. Quigley and the late Mary McNeil Quigley. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, radio announcer, videographer, historical author, ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church, member of Holmes Presbyterian Church, and former member of the American Legion Post #56.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two stepsons, Brent Brodeur of Wolcott, CT, and Todd Brodeur and his wife, Jeannette, of Terryville, CT; three brothers, Brian Quigley and his wife, Tina, of Evansville, IN, David Quigley and his wife, Colleen, of North Port, FL, and Curtis Quigley and his wife, Janet, of Charlotte, NC; a brother-in-law, William Clewes and his wife, Judith, of Littleton, NH; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 22, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Holmes Presbyterian Church with Pastor Charlotte Elia officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Cape Charles Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
