He had many other hobbies including carpentry, cake decorating, computers, playing golf, scuba diving and auto mechanics to name a few.

Albert also had a deep love for animals, all animals. The first of which was his beloved German Shepherd dog, Penny. After Penny, Albert had many cats, fish, parakeets, parrots, he even had a couple of monkeys at one point. After he retired, he was often seen feeding stray or feral cats and giving them a warm place to sleep in his garage. He also loved hand feeding squirrels and gaining their trust.

The family will be having a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, given Albert’s love of animals, the family requests that you make donations in Albert’s name to your local animal shelter or animal sanctuary.
