Albert Packett, Jr

Albert Allen Packett Jr., 81, of Painter, VA, passed away peacefully at home on August 14, 2025, with his wife by his side.

He was born on July 7, 1944, to the late Albert Packett Sr. And Eldora Packett.

He attended Craddockville UMC. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Loving survivors include his beloved wife, Bonnie Patterson Packett, sister Evelyn Pruitt, nephew Sean Hart (Crystal) of Exmore, Va, sister-in-law Carol Kresge (Brad) of Front Royal, VA, special niece Amanda Cockrell (Josh) special nephew Bradley Kresge whom he considered as his children, and a great niece, Annaleigh Jean Cockrell, Olivia Hart, and great nephews Andrew Hart and Chandler Hart.

His special friends, Tommy, Johnny, Carl, Craig, and Chuck. His beloved fur babies, Frazier, Smokey, Sam, Sadie, Max, Maggie, and Annie Mae.

He was retired as a Seafood Salesman, Cook at Exmore Diner, and Allens Lawn Care.

Pallbearers are Tommy Lewis, Carl McNab, Sean Hart, Andrew Hart, Brad Kresge, and Bradley Kresge.

Honorary Pallbearers are Johnny Gardner, Craig Blake, Chandler Hart, and Steve King.

A service will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 2:00PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Kelley and Pastor Nicholas Grainger officiating.

Family visitation will be held Monday, August 18, 2025, 6:00 PM to 7:30PM, at Doughty Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Belle Haven Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Craddockville UMC, 33464 Boston Rd, Painter, VA 23420.
