Anne West Bell
March 20, 1939 — October 19, 2017
Anne West Bell, 78, wife of Buddy Bell and a resident of Oyster, VA, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Painter, VA, she was the daughter of the late George E. West, Jr. and the late Lelia Kellam West. She was retired from Northampton County Public Schools and trained horses.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Edward M. Bell of Eastville, VA; a daughter, Lisha Bell of Oyster; four granddaughters; and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Timothy N. Bell.
A celebration of life service will be conducted Monday, October 23, 2017, at 1:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Reverend Janet C. Allen officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the S.P.C.A. Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 164, Onley, Virginia 23418.
