Anthony Scala

Anthony A. Scala, 77, husband of Patricia Costello Scala and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Perth Amboy, NJ, he was the son of the late Joe Scala and the late Mildred DeVaeu Scala. He was a retired building contractor and a Catholic.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by three sons, Anthony Scala of Cape Charles, Michael Scala of Pennsylvania, and Matthew Scala of New York; four sisters, Grace Bowie, Margie Bushman, Jean Corccaro, and Theresa Scala, all of New Jersey; and a granddaughter, Claire Scala of New York.

To honor his wishes no public services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
