Bettie Leigh

Bettie Charlton Leigh, age 77, went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2024. She was devoted to her family and loved each one with all her heart. She was born August 5, 1947, in Norfolk, Virginia, the daughter of the late Harry W. Charlton and Bettie West Charlton Humphreys.

 She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Wayne Leigh Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 58 years, Thomas Wayne Leigh Sr. daughter, Amy Leigh Prewitt and husband, David Prewitt; 2 grandsons, Austin Leigh and Spencer Deaver; granddaughter, Madison Leigh; 3 great grandsons, Owen, Leigh, Hunter Leigh, and Ian Thomas Leigh Hunnings, and one great granddaughter, Nora Mae Hunnings.

 A Celebration of Life will be held at the Clubhouse in Vaucluse Shores on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Exmore Baptist Church, 11624 Occohannock Neck Road, Exmore, Virginia 23350
