In the 1970’s, Billie moved to Virginia Beach to pursue a career and retired from C&P Telephone.  After enjoying many years across the bay, she moved back to the Eastern Shore in 2020.  She took pleasure in cooking, talking on the phone, shopping, reading, gardening and bird watching.  Billie was interested in genealogy and could recite a family tree from memory.  Billie’s favorite day of the week was Thursday because it always began with a visit to her special friends at the Hair Loft.
