B.J. Carpenter

William Joseph Carpenter, better known as B.J., 29, a resident of Eastville, VA, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. A native of Cape Charles, VA, he was the son Tracy Grubbs of Eastville.

In addition to his loving mother, he is survived by his grandmother, Eleanor Forbes of Eastville; four sisters, Mary Gilbert and her fiancé, Andrew, of Lewis, DE, Nola Williamson of Columbus, GA, Joy Anderson of Berlin, MD, and Candy Anderson of Berlin; three aunts, Paula Champion of Cape Charles, Judy Carpenter of Eastville, and Pat Taylor of Lancaster, PA; two uncles, Mike Carpenter and Bill Widgeon, both of Cape Charles; and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Donald Forbes and his uncle, Dale Carpenter.

A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastern Shore Community Services Board, P. O. Box 453, Nassawadox, VA 23413.
