Cameron Wilson

Cameron Lee Wilson, 35, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025. A resident of Painter, VA, Cameron was a beloved son, father, fiancé, and friend whose kind heart and adventurous spirit left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.

Born on January 26, 1990, Cameron was the cherished son of Tammey Mears and her husband, T.J. Mears, of Onancock, VA, and Bryan Jones and his wife, Kerriann Jones, of Exmore, VA. He was the devoted fiancé of Courtney Green of Painter, VA, and the proud father of his daughter, Hailie Wilson, who was the light of his life.

Cameron is also survived by his sisters, Tabitha Mears (Cheyenne Turner) and Tiffany Mears, both of Onancock; his stepbrother, Zeth Harvey; and stepsister, Falicia Harvey. He leaves behind his aunt, Helen Isdell of Onancock; his uncles, Wesley Wilson of Salisbury, MD, and Tombo Brady of Parksley, VA; two nephews, Troy Geiser and Christian Geiser; and five nieces, Dakota Geiser, Navayah Drummond, Ariaha Drummond, Ty’ranai Giddens, and Morgan Mears. He also shared a special bond with his best friend, Ethan Moore, who was like a brother to him. Cameron was predeceased by his grandparents, Louis Bowen and Judy Jones, and Margaret and Tom Wilson, whose love and guidance helped shape the man he became.

A true country boy at heart, Cameron had a deep love for the outdoors and found peace and joy in hunting and fishing. Whether he was casting a line or walking through the woods, nature was where he felt most at home. Cameron’s heart was as vast as the countryside he loved, and his presence brought comfort and joy to those around him.

Though his time with us was far too short, Cameron’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends who will forever cherish the laughter, love, and life they shared with him.

In honor of his request no public service will be conducted.
