Born in Nassawadox, Virginia, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Robert L. Parks, Sr. and Betty Elliott Parks. She attended Lower Northampton Baptist Church and found great comfort in her faith throughout her life.

Carolyn had a deep love for the beauty of nature and the simple joys it brought. She especially enjoyed crafting, gardening, and spending time at the beach. She had a special fondness for birds and butterflies, and her gentle spirit reflected the peace and beauty she found in the world around her.

She is survived by her loving sister, Nancy Goffigon; her niece, Sarah Leigh; and her nephew, Frank Ulrich, Jr.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother, Robert L. Parks, Jr.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Carolyn’s dear friends, Tiffany Pearsol, Amy Lines, and Annie Jordon, for their unwavering love, support, and care.

A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at a later date.

Carolyn will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of nature, and the warmth she shared with those who knew and loved her.
