Catherine Marie Moore

Catherine Marie Moore, 70, wife of James T. Moore and a resident of Nassawadox, VA, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017, at Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital in Norfolk, VA. A native of Chesconessex, VA, she was the daughter of the late John Watson and the late Virginia Rose Spence Watson. Catherine was a retired cook for Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox.

She is survived by two children, Christopher Allen Moore and his wife, Shannon, of Onley, VA, and Donna Fay Moore of Nassawadox; a brother, Wilbert James Watson; a sister, Mae Frances Colon and her husband, Louis, of Melfa, VA; two grandchildren, Douglas Michael Moore and Ashleigh Gene Moore; and her companion, Ralph E. Brady.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 13, 2017, at 1:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend William C. Jefferson officiating. Interment will follow in Eastville Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
