Claire Groth

Claire Catherine Groth, 91, wife of Ramon Groth and a resident of Nassawadox, VA, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. A native of Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Sarandrea and the late Willianna Sarandrea.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a daughter, Barbara Willke and her husband, Henry, of Nassawadox; a son, Gregory Groth of Nassawadox; two grandchildren, Tara and Karl; many great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, August 22, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Father Rogelio L. Abadano and Pastor Karl Willke officiating. Family will join friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
