Cornelia Lewis Booker

Cornelia Lewis Booker, 83, one of fifteen children and wife of the late Charles M. Booker, Jr., a resident of Cheriton, VA, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018, at her residence. A native of Wachapreague, VA, she was the daughter of the late Edward H. Lewis and the late Florence Richardson Lewis. She was a member of Cheriton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three children, Fred Lloyd and his wife, Sharon, of Machipongo, VA, Ronald Booker and his wife, Sarah, of Fernandina Beach, FL; and Sandra B. Lewis and her husband, David, of Cape Charles, VA; two brothers; four sisters; a daughter-in-law, Kit Willis Booker of Hampton, VA; seven grandchildren, Angelica Lloyd, Justin Booker, Brian Booker, Charles Booker, Michael Booker, Shelby Booker and Andrew Lewis; and two great grandchildren, Kaiden and Mason Booker. She was predeceased by a son, Carl T. Booker; two grandchildren, Melissa Lloyd and David Lewis, Jr.; three sisters; and five brothers.
To honor her wishes no public service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Intrepid Hospice, Post Office Box 770, Onley, VA 23418.
