Deborah Ann Doughty

Deborah Ann Doughty, 64, wife of the late William Thomas Carpenter, Jr. and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018, at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. A native of Craddockville, VA, she was the daughter of the late George Doughty and the late Ann Parsons Doughty.

She is survived by three children, Pierce Scanlan, Stella Ann Scanlan and Lance Scanlan, all of Exmore; a brother, Kim Doughty of Braselton, GA; and two beloved dogs, Honey and Lilly. She was predeceased by a brother, George Parsons Doughty.

To honor her requests no public service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SPCA Eastern Shore, Inc., P.O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418.
