Dorothy Hart Edgerton

Mrs. Dorothy Hart Edgerton, 77, wife of the late Byron Dale Edgerton and a resident of Davis Wharf, Virginia formerly of Titusville, New Jersey, passed away Friday, June 23, 2006 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, Va. A native of New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Helen Hanson Hart and the late Norman S. Hart. She was a member of Craddockville United Methodist and a member of the Eastern Shore of Virginia Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Edgerton is survived by a daughter, Susan E. Wilson of Craddockville, Va., a son, Robert Dale Edgerton of Davis Wharf, Va.; and two grandsons, Justin and Dallas Wilson both of Craddockville. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 26, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth T. "Skeeter" Armstrong officiating. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home Sunday evening from 7 to 8:30.
