Dorothy Johnson Fowler

Dorothy Louise Johnson Fowler, 81, wife of the late Earl Lee Fowler and a resident of Chesapeake, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. A native of South Carolina, Mrs. Fowler was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ida Owens Johnson. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Jones and her husband John of Chesapeake, Betty Jones and her husband Billy of Roanoke Rapids, NC; two sons, Earl L. Fowler, Jr. of Halifax, NC, William A. Fowler and his wife Linda of Chesapeake; 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
