Elizabeth Bender

Elizabeth Parks Bender, 86, wife of the late Edward Humphreys Bender and a resident of Nassawadox, VA, formerly of Cheriton, VA passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at The Citidel at Nassawadox. A native of Willis Wharf, she was the daughter of the late Willis W. Parks and the late Lucille Archie Parks. She was a retired teacher’s aide for Northampton Public Schools.

Elizabeth is survived by two sons, Edward Mark Bender and his wife, Tammy, of Capeville, VA and Arthur Peter Bender of New Jersey; four grandchildren, Danielle Bender, Ryan Bender, Jessica Stiles and Ashley Bender; three great-grandchildren and a nephew, Don Bender and his wife, Debbie, of Cape Charles, VA.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Sherri Ann Bender.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
