Estial Reynolds

Estial Vernon Reynolds II, 68, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021. Vern was born in Hampton, Va. He was the son of Violet Artman Reynolds and John Marion Reynolds.

Vern was a 1971 graduate of Hampton High School where he played varsity football under coaches Johnny Palmer and Mike Smith. Vern also studied at TNCC, American University, and Christopher Newport College.

Vern was a founding member of the family business, Reynolds Enterprise, INC. in the early 1980's. He later became sole owner. Vern was always known for his very wry sense of humor. He was a true southern gentleman. Among many redeeming attributes, he was a very kind and generous man with unending love for his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 43 years, Faith Ann; his daughter, Lydia Emenaker and her husband, James; his son, E.V. Reynolds and his wife, Rachael; his four granddaughters, Adalynn & Madilynn Reynolds and Audrey & Hailey Emenaker; several nieces and nephews; plus many friends and family.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 1-3 pm at Bayview United Church-Christ, 1051 E. Bayview Blvd., Norfolk, VA.  Face masks required. Flowers are welcomed. Donations can be made to a local Foodbank.
