Gene F. (View Video Tribute) Gregory

Gene F. Gregory, 74, husband of Lois Lee Gregory and a resident of Davis Wharf, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at MCV in Richmond, Va. A native of Davis Wharf, he was the son of the late John Adam Gregory and late Roberta Sturgis Gregory. He was a retired Truck Driver. He was a member of Craddockville United Methodist Church, the Pungoteague Ruritan Club, Accomack Elks Lodge #1766 and a 49 year member of Exmore Moose Lodge #683. Other than his wife, he is survived by a son, Gene Ames Gregory and his wife Donna of Winston-Salem, N.C.; three step-children, Sherry Ross and her husband Robert of Oceanside, Ca., William A. Sprague, Jr. and his wife Linda of Gloucester, Va., Lois Ann Sprague of Parksley, Va.; a brother, Jack A. Gregory and his wife Anne of Davis Wharf; two nephews and five step-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Holly Cemetery in Onancock, Virginia with the Rev. Bobby Carroll Huether officiating. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
