Geraldine C. Avery

Geraldine C. Avery, 65, wife of Robert H. Avery and a resident of Virginia Landing near Quinby, Va. passed away Saturday October 1, 2005 at Shore Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Avery, a native of Utica, New York was the daughter of the late Joseph Skiba and the late Stella Osla Skiba. Other than her husband, Mrs. Avery is survived by three children; Benny Avery of Parksley, Va., Linda M. MacDonald and her husband George of Chesapeake, Va. and Robert John Avery of Chesapeake, Va., several aunts and uncles; Bertha and Henry Jaworski, Ed and Anne Urbanik and Robert Skiba, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday October 5, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. Family will join friends Wednesday morning at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until time of service. Arrangements made by Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore.
