Geraldine Palmer

Geraldine Smith Palmer, 80, of Painter, VA, formerly of St. Lucie-Martin County, FL passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at her residence. Daughter of Ruby Garnet Rowland Smith of Fall Branch, TN and the late John R. Smith, Geraldine was retired from the State of Florida.

In addition to her loving mother, she is survived by two children, Michael Palmer of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Wendy Johnson and her husband, Herb, of Painter; two sisters, Carolyn Lowrance and Deborah Moffitt and her husband, Jerry, all of Fall Branch; two grandchildren, Lance Gullo of Lutz, FL and Chelsie Carpenter and her husband, Billy, of Painter; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Gage; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her father, Geraldine was predeceased by a sister, Mary Lee Hood.

To honor her request, no services are planned. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Shore Hospice, PO Box 616, Onley, VA 23418.
