Harry Lovell

George H. "Harry" Lovell, 85, husband of the late Josie Doughty Lovell and a resident of Onancock, VA, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. A native of Eastville, VA, he was the son of the late William Seth Lovell and the late Anna Kochersperger Lovell. He was a retired farmer, U.S. Army veteran, and member of Exmore Moose Lodge #683.

He is survived by a son, William Davis Lovell and his wife, Tracy, of Onancock; a sister, Anna Brown of Bloxom, VA; five grandchildren, Matthew Paranzino, Christopher Paranzino, Joanna Williams and her husband, Tony, Jennifer Lovell, and Sarah Grace Lovell; two great grandchildren, Jo'Vanni and Taliyah Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Tabitha L. Paranzino, and a brother, Edward Lovell.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018, at 3:00 PM at Onancock Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Cobb and Mr. Dave Lovell officiating. Interment will be held at Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends at Doughty Funeral Home Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:30. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside Shore Cancer Center, P. O. Box 430, Onancock, VA 23417.
