Janice Cloughly

Janice A. Cloughly, 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, in Salisbury, Maryland.

A native of Yonkers, New York, Janice was born on July 1, 1952, to the late Edward and Margaret McCue. She dedicated more than 40 years of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse, a profession that reflected her compassion, strength, and unwavering commitment to service.

Janice was a proud member of the Accomack Woman’s Club, where she enjoyed fellowship and giving back to her community. She will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the quiet grace with which she touched the lives of those around her.

She is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Cloughly; her son, Joseph P. Cloughly; and her nephews, Shawn, Kyle, and Chris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie McCue.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Doughty Funeral Home, with Father Michael Imperial officiating.
