Jeremy Allan Van Fossen

Jeremy Allan Van Fossen, 32, husband of Misty Dawn Stalling Van Fossen and a resident of Melfa, VA, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at his residence. A native of New Lexington, OH, he was the son of Rickey Allan Van Fossen and his wife, Tracy, of Hacks Neck, VA and Barbara Ann Holshue Barton and her husband, James, of Lancaster, OH. He was the owner of VF Arms and manager at Kool Ford Auto Body and Quick Lube.

In addition to his loving wife and parents, he is survived by two children, Riley Allan Van Fossen and Colton Allan Van Fossen, both of Melfa; a sister, Jessica Barton Wiseman and her husband, Garry, of Junction City, OH; two brothers, Jeremy Barton and his wife, Ashley, of Thornville, OH, James Barton III of Lancaster and his paternal grandparents, Haven George and Ruby Ellen Van Fossen of Melbourne, FL. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Thomas Holshue and Marjorie Muller.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Jeremy Allan Van Fossen's Children Fund
