Con profunda tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Jesús Palacios-Maldonado, quien partió de este mundo el 5 de agosto de 2026. Nacido el 14 de junio de 1985 en México, Jesús brindó alegría y risas a todos los que lo conocieron. Fue un amado hijo, hermano, tío y amigo, y su familia y comunidad lo extrañarán profundamente.

Jesús era el querido hijo de Francisca Maldonado, quien le sobrevive, junto con sus hermanos Andrea, Paula, Yaquelin, Jeanette, Miguel, Adriana y Abigail. Su legado de amor y alegría perdura a través de sus numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas, a quienes adoraba y trataba como a sus propios hijos. Conocido cariñosamente como el "tío divertido", Jesús tenía una habilidad excepcional para hacer sonreír a quienes lo rodeaban, dejando una huella imborrable en sus corazones.

Jesús, techador de profesión, se enorgullecía de su trabajo, demostrando tanto habilidad como una sólida ética laboral. Fuera de su trabajo, disfrutaba de la vida con pasión y entusiasmo. Encontraba alegría en los placeres sencillos, como la pesca, jugar Pokémon Go, saborear los fideos ramen y sumergirse en el mundo del anime. También era un conocedor de la comida picante, deleitándose con platos que ponían a prueba los límites del picante.

Su contagioso sentido del humor y su genuina calidez lo hicieron querido por todos los que lo conocieron. Su capacidad para hacer reír a los demás era un verdadero don, y lo compartía generosamente. Aunque no tuvo hijos propios, el vínculo que compartía con sus sobrinos era profundo y lleno de amor.

Se celebrará un servicio en honor y celebración de la vida de Jesús Palacios-Maldonado en la Iglesia Católica de San Pedro Apóstol, ubicada en 25236 Coastal Blvd, Onley, VA 23418, el 10 de Agosto de 2026. El velorio será de 7:00 a.m. a 4:30 p.m., seguido de una oración de 4:30 p.m. a 6:30 p.m. y la misa a las 7:00 p.m. Familiares, amigos y todos aquellos que fueron tocados por la bondad de Jesús están invitados a asistir y presentar sus respetos.

La familia desea expresar su más sincero agradecimiento a la comunidad por el gran apoyo y las donaciones recibidas durante este difícil momento.

La risa y el amor de Jesús resonarán para siempre en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron. Que descanse en paz, sabiendo que fue profundamente amado y jamás será olvidado.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jesús Palacios-Maldonado, who departed this world on August 5, 2026. Born on June 14, 1985 in Mexico, Jesus brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, and will be deeply missed by his family and community.

Jesús was the beloved son of Francisca Maldonado, who survives him, along with his siblings Andrea, Paula, Yaquelin, Jeanette, Miguel, Adriana and Abigail. His legacy of love and joy lives on through his many nephews and nieces, whom he adored and treated as his own children. Affectionately known as the "funny uncle," Jesús had an exceptional ability to make those around him smile, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

Jesús, a roofer by profession, took pride in his work, demonstrating both skill and a strong work ethic. Outside of his work, he enjoyed life with passion and enthusiasm. He found joy in simple pleasures, such as fishing, playing Pokémon Go, savoring ramen noodles, and immersing himself in the world of anime. He was also a connoisseur of spicy food, indulging in dishes that tested the limits of spiciness.

His infectious sense of humor and genuine warmth made him beloved by all who knew him. His ability to make others laugh was a true gift, and he shared it generously. Although he had no children of his own, the bond he shared with his nephews was deep and full of love.

A service honoring and celebrating the life of Jesús Palacios-Maldonado will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 25236 Coastal Blvd, Onley, VA 23418, on August 10, 2026. The wake will be from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by a prayer from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Mass at 7:00 p.m. Family, friends, and all those who were touched by Jesús' goodness are invited to attend and pay their respects.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the community for the outpouring of support and donations received during this difficult time.

The laughter and love of Jesús will forever resound in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
