Joan Agnes Gleason

Joan Agnes Gleason, 82, wife of Robert Joseph Gleason and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017, in Jacksonville, FL. A native of New York, NY, she was the daughter of Grace Buczny of Sanford, NC, and the late Frank A. Buczny, Sr. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, PA, and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Cape Charles.

In addition to her mother and loving husband, she is survived by two sons, Robert John Gleason and his wife, Ann, of Charlotte, NC, and James A. Gleason of Jacksonville; a brother, Frank A. Buczny, Jr. of Sanford; and four grandchildren, Robert P. Gleason, John A. Gleason, Patrick T. Gleason and Moira A. Gleason, all of Charlotte. She was predeceased by a son, Kevin M. Gleason.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. Inurnment will follow in St. Charles Borromeo Memorial Columbarium. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church, 545 Randolph Ave., Cape Charles, Va. 23310.
