John Putre, 99, of Exmore, formerly of Whiting, NJ, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, Va. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he was a retired meat manager for A & P grocery store. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie Monz Putre. He is survived by a son, John W. Putre and his wife, Helen of Exmore and a sister, Helen Senz of Pennsylvania. A private service will be held in New Jersey. Arrangements made by Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore.
