John Taylor

John Douglas Taylor, 66, a resident of Southside Chesconessex, VA, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Riverside Shore Memorioal Hospital in Onancock, VA. A native of Southside Chesconessex, he was the son of the late Johnnie C. Taylor and the late Betty Jean Spence Taylor. He was retired from Shore Vault & Precast Company.

He is survived by his aunt, Maybelle S. Bennett and her husband, Sonny, of Onancock.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 10, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Interment will be private in Fairview Lawn Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, 20480 Market Street, Onancock, VA 23417 or a charity of one's choice.
