John Richard Yaros

John Richard Yaros, 75, beloved husband of Kathleen O'Dell Yaros for 54 years and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the Sentara Hospice House in Virginia Beach, VA. A native of Dayton, NJ, he was the son of the late John David Yaros and the late Emily Breese Yaros. He was a potato farmer, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Cape Charles and the Monmouth Junction Fire Department in New Jersey.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two sons, John R. Yaros, Jr. of Cape Charles and Stephen Yaros of St. Petersburg, FL; a sister, Elizabeth Sheehan and her husband, Arthur, of New Jersey; one niece, Luann Baumann of Ohio; and three grandsons, Joshua Yaros, John R. Yaros, III, and Jared Alexander Yaros.

To honor his wishes, no public service will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sentara Heart Hospital, 600 Gresham Drive, Norfolk, VA 23507.
