Joyce Marie Dixon

Joyce Marie Dixon, 85, wife of the late Roy William Dixon and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at her home. A native of Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry Ferrell and the late Zella Johnson Ferrell.
To cherish her memory she leaves behind her two children, Ann Curling of Cheriton, VA, Timothy Dixon and his wife, Peggy, of Cape Charles; a brother, Charles Ferrell and his wife, Barbara, of Kissimmee, FL; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren. Joyce was predeceased a son, Roy Dixon, Jr.; a daughter, Sidney Basnight and a sister, Joanne Goodman.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Lower Northampton Baptist Church with Reverend Jeff Conrow officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.
