Kenneth Pruitt

Kenneth Allen Pruitt, 72, a resident of New Church, VA, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. A native of the Eastern Shore, he was the son of the late Alfred Smith Pruitt and the late Elestine Crockett Pruitt. He was a veterinarian helper for Greenbush Veterinary Clinic, loved wildlife, fishing, crabbing, music, tinkering on vehicles and hanging out with friends.

He is survived by two sisters, Janet Turner and her husband, Bryan, and Dee Wilson and her husband, H.D.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 12, 2024, at 1:00PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Interment will be private in Belle Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to help the family with funeral expenses may be made to Doughty Funeral Home, Post Office Box 633, Exmore, Virginia 23350.
