Kenneth Emery White
December 1, 1947 — October 6, 2017
Kenneth Emery White, 69, husband of Carol Ellington White and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, formerly of Chesapeake, VA, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017, at his residence. A native of Chesapeake, he was the son of the late Roy Emery White and the late Juanita Twiford White. He was a United States Army Veteran, served in Vietnam, a Bronze Star recipient, member of the Air National Guard and was retired from Verizon.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two sons, Scott White of Chesapeake, and Tyler White and his wife, Charlene, of Streamwood, IL; a granddaughter, Kaylee Hilt of Streamwood; and two grand dogs, Dixie and Bo Bo. He was predeceased by his sister, Kathleen White Midgett.
Family will join friends Wednesday, October 11, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oman Funeral Home, 653 Cedar Rd., Chesapeake, VA, to celebrate Kenneth's life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 4416 Expressway Dr., Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
