Kevin Beasley

November 17, 1959 — October 4, 2022

Kevin Lanier Beasley, 62, husband of Shelley Sullivan Beasley and a resident of Eastville, VA, formerly of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at his home with his wife and daughters by his side. Born in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late James C. Beasley and the late Patti Lanier Beasley.

Kevin was the owner of Kevin L. Beasley Drywall and was affectionately known as “Drywall Man”. For many years Kevin was an avid hunter and in his later years he enjoyed spending time in the mountains capturing the beauty of wildlife through photography. Kevin married the love of his life, Shelley, in November 1985. In nearly 37 years of marriage, he was the most loving, caring, considerate and kind husband that a woman could ask for. Providing for his family was always his first concern. Kevin was blessed with two daughters, Kendall and Nicole. He was a loving father who taught them any and everything he could to help them grow into intelligent, successful, happy and independent women. A man of great integrity, he held a special bond with each of his daughters and grandchildren. He loved spending birthdays, holidays, time watching baseball and jamming out with them! Admired in many ways, especially for the eternal love and knowledge he shared.

He will continue to live on through his beautiful loving wife, Shelley; daughters, Kendall (Joey) and Nicole; beautiful grandchildren, Armani, Camdyn, Ella, Patti, Joseph, Francesca and Jolene; brothers, James (Donna) and Bentley; his closest, dearest and lifetime best friend, Bryan (Tracy); many family and friends; and kitties, Thelma and Louise.

To honor his request the family will hold a private service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation www.t2t.org
