Lance Gullo

Lance Thomas Gullo, age 40, of Painter, VA, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Lance grew up in a military family, experiencing many moves throughout his childhood before his family eventually settled on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. He graduated from Rock Church Academy in 2005.

Lance had a passion for working with animals and was a certified dog trainer. He was also an avid and talented gamer who enjoyed the friendships and connections he made through the gaming community. Above all, Lance will be remembered as a kind and loyal friend, a loving brother and uncle, and a cherished member of his family. He had a big heart and treasured the many relationships he built throughout his life.

Lance is survived by his parents, Herb and Wendy Johnson; his sister, Chelsie Carpenter and husband Billy; nephews, Jeremy and Gage; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a very special group of amazing friends who brought joy and meaning to his life.
