On Saturday, April 25, 2020, Leo Elmore, 86, of Donna, TX, left to join his beloved wife, Barbara, in God’s kingdom.
Leo was born on July 12, 1933 to George and Myrtle Elmore of Cumberland County, TN. He was predeceased by both his parents; brothers, Loyd, James, George, Lester, Charles, and Clyde; sisters, Bonnie, Lenora, Elsie, Roxie, Alice, Felicia, and Maurine; and a grandson, Ronald Lee White, Jr. a.k.a. “Guy”.
Leo was a United States Veteran serving both in the Army and the Navy. He was a machinist at NL Industries and after retiring, spent the next 30 years self-employed as a lawn care and landscaping specialist.
He left behind a daughter, Loretta Williams and her husband, Mark, of Virginia Beach, VA; two step-sons, Henry Snell and his wife, Linda, of Dayton, OH, and Ron White and his wife, Wendy, of New Port Richey, FL; eleven grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews throughout Tennessee and New York.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, June 21, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Cape Charles Cemetery with Mr. Roger Pike officiating.
