Littleton Thomas Powell, Jr., better known as Lilton, 96, husband of the late Hilda Hickman Powell and a resident of Quinby, VA, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017, at Riverside Shore Rehabilitation Center in Parksley, VA. A native of Quinby, he was the son of the late Littleton T. Powell, Sr. and the late Grace Spence Powell. He was a retired waterman.
He is survived by a son, Larry W. Powell and his wife, Connie, of Quinby; a daughter, Marilyn P. Jones and her husband, John, of Onley, VA; four grandchildren, Ronda P. Bradley and her husband, Kendall, of Melfa, VA, Andrew Powell of Pennsylvania, Todd Henard and his wife, Andrea, of Florida, and Renee H. Horn of Florida; and two great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at 3:00 PM at Quinby Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Parks officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.
