Linda Markland

February 3, 1947 — August 27, 2018

Linda Marlene Sheets Markland, 71, wife of the late Herbert F. Markland and a resident of Portsmouth, VA, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018, at her daughter's home in Cape Charles, VA. A native of Portsmouth, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Sheets and the late Hattie "Connie" Matheson Sheets. She was the retired owner of Connie's Electrolysis.

She is survived by two children, Terry Allen and his wife, DeeAnn, of Pittsburg, KS, and Leigh Ann Pavlik and her husband, Chris, of Cape Charles; a brother, Charles Sheets of Griffin, GA; six grandchildren, Gabriel, Spencer, Melody, Joshua, Hannah, and Jonathan; and a nephew.

A celebration of life service will be conducted Friday, August 31, 2018, at 10:00 AM at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 5615 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth with family officiating.
