Linwood Christian
March 25, 1941 — October 14, 2021
Linwood D. Christian, 80, husband of Peggy Jones Christian and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA. A native of Fluvanna County, VA, he was the son of the late Asa Leonard Christian and the late Lillie Elsie Duncan Christian. He was a retired Inventory Manager for Virginia Power, member of Capeville United Methodist Church, member of Northampton County Anglers Club, and an avid New York Yankees Fan.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his son, Linwood “Lin” Christian and his wife, Joan, of Cape Charles; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
To honor his wishes funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Eastern Shore SPCA, P.O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418.
