Margaret Morris Belote

Margaret Morris Belote, 86, wife of the late Billy Lee Belote and a resident of Quinby, VA, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018, at her residence. A native of Willis Wharf, VA, she was the daughter of the late Fred Morris and the late Myrtle Whitman Morris.

She is survived by four children, Linda Lee Hall of Pocomoke, MD, Luther "Chubby" Mears and his wife, Libby, of Birdsnest, VA, Margaret Ann Mears of Titusville, FL, and David Rolley Mears and his spouse, James Bell, of Orlando, FL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at 1:00 PM at the Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend Jack Pruitt officiating. Interment will be private in Wachapreague Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to S.P.C.A. Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418.
