Margaret Engle Sullivan, 59, wife of Ron Greening and a resident of Haines City, FL passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Margaret was born in Bronxville, NY and is the daughter of Mary Dare Stewart Engle of Cobbs Creek, VA and Mooresville, NC, formerly of Concord Wharf, VA, and the late James R. Engle. Margaret was a 1970 graduate of Northampton High School. She was an excellent cook and golfer and sang like "an angel".
In addition to her husband and mother, survivors include a sister, Jane E. Todd and her husband, Michael, of Mooresville; a brother, Jim Engle and his wife, Rita, of Cobbs Creek; a niece, Liz Engle; a nephew, Mike Engle; and her constant companion, her poodle, Maggie.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Patricia Kellam officiating. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery. Contributions in Margaret's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
