Marion Spady Scott, Jr.

October 28, 1932 — December 24, 2018

Marion S. Scott, Jr., affectionately known as Scotty or Bub by his family and friends, died on Christmas Eve, 2018, surrounded by family. Scotty was predeceased by his parents, Fannie Nottingham and Marion S. Scott; his wife, Gayhlia Walter Scott; and his sister, Betty Scott Jones. He is survived by two sons, Richard J. Scott and wife, Rene, of Richmond, and William D. Scott and wife, Alice, of Ivor; three grandchildren, Ashlyn Scott Scarborough and husband, Robert, W. Dustin Scott and wife, Alexandra, all of Ivor, and Rebecca Scott of Richmond; a great-granddaughter, Briar Grace Scarborough of Ivor; a sister, Kate Scott Jacob of Onancock; and longtime companion, Bonnie Nottingham.
