Marvin Sidney Bradford

October 27, 1930 — May 30, 2017

Marvin Sidney Bradford, Sr., 86, husband of the late Louise Keaser "Bonnie" Bradford and a resident of Willis Wharf, VA, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. A native of Willis Wharf, he was the son of the late Harry T. Bradford and the late Madlin May Archie Bradford. He was a United States Coast Guard Veteran, retired foreman for Bayshore Concrete, waterman, taxidermist and longtime member of the Moose.

He is survived by a grandson, Brian Bradford of Exmore, VA; two step children, Thomas Savage, Jr. of Machipongo, VA and Donna Savage Wallace of Jamesville, VA; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Bradford Taylor of Quinby, VA; numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Judy Dunn of Delaware. He was predeceased by a son, Marty Bradford; four brothers, Harry Bradford Jr., Gordon Bradford, Clyde Bradford, Sr., Archie Bradford and a sister, Pauline Williams.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Belle Haven Cemetery with Reverend Jack D. Pruitt officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 6400 East Grant Road, Suite 170, Tucson, AZ 85715.
