Mary Elizabeth Cullen Floyd

Mary Elizabeth Cullen Floyd, 83, wife of the late H. Allen Floyd, Jr. and a resident of Belle Haven, VA, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at her residence. A native of Mappsburg, VA, she was the granddaughter of the late William B. Mapp and the late Mary Mapp. She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church, Colonial Dames of the 17th Century, and a N.A.M. Hospital Volunteer for many years.
She is survived by her brother, Winter C. Cullen III of Painter, VA; her daughter, Elizabeth F. Spencer and her husband, Eddie, of Cape Charles, VA; her son, H. Allen Floyd III and his wife, Cindy, of Belle Haven; four grandchildren, Brittany Floyd Johnson and her husband, William, of Belle Haven, Bethany Floyd Watkins and her husband, Tyler, of Richmond, VA, Eric Floyd Spencer of Charlottesville, VA, and Rachel Elizabeth Spencer of Cape Charles; and a great grandson, Richard Allen Johnson of Belle Haven.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Tankard's Rest Cemetery in Exmore, VA, with Reverend Judith Worthington officiating. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local Eastern Shore Fire Company.
