Mary Mapp Vose

Mary Mapp Vose, a beloved wife, aunt, and lifelong resident of the Eastern Shore of Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, at the age of 76. She resided in Exmore, Virginia.

Mary was born and raised on the Eastern Shore, the daughter of the late Dudley Mapp and Nettie Rowe Mapp. She carried forward the values and traditions of her close-knit community with grace, compassion, and a deep sense of faith.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 20 years, William A. Vose, and her cherished niece, Allyson Pruitt, who held a special place in her heart.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory and the legacy she leaves behind.

Mary’s warmth, quiet strength, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
