Patsy Warren Gladden

Patsy Warren Gladden, 84, wife of Bob C. Gladden and a resident of Painter, VA, passed away peacefully Monday, January 23, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A native of Quinby, VA, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence H. Warren and Elizabeth Eichelberger Warren. She was a member of Painter-Garrison United Methodist Church and Eastern Shore Emmaus.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Nancy Gladden Henderson and her husband, John Mapp, of Painter; a son, Robert Clark Gladden and his wife, Teresa, of Melfa, VA; four grandchildren, Jason Lewis Hopkins, Douglas Gladden Hopkins, Michelle Gladden Killmon, Christina Linquist Ward; and seven great-grandchildren, Gavin Lewis Hopkins, Kaylie Paige Hopkins, Cameron Gladden Hopkins, Parker Jackson Ward, Jr., Kinley Bennett Ward, Kyler James Killmon and Madison Paige Killmon.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Painter-Garrison United Methodist Church with Reverends Curtis Lucy, Charlene Harris, and Clarence Bowen officiating. Interment will be private in Belle Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Painter-Garrison United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 522, Painter, VA 23420 or Riverside Shore Hospice, P. O. Box 615, Onley, VA 23418.
