Preston Cornelius Kellam, Jr. better known as PC, 81, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2025. He was a resident of Silver Beach, VA and Commonwealth Senior Living of the Eastern Shore in Onancock, VA. He was born September 28, 1943, in Nassawadox, VA. Upon returning to Virginia, he began his farming career with PC Kellam and Sons in Church Neck and Exmore, VA. He later was employed by Associated Farms, Shore Fertilizer, and Northampton County as an attendant at several convenience centers, lastly being Wardtown, VA.

During his lifetime, he served on the Northampton County Board of Supervisors for 16 years and the Northampton County School Board and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Jamesville, VA.

PC is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mickey Kellam; his daughters, Julie K. Gilliam (Jeff) and Susan C. He was predeceased by his parents, Pres and Madge Kellam; brother and sister-in-law Ronnie and Anne Kellam; daughter, Peggy Kellam; and brothers-in- law, Gary Baxter and David McPherson.

PC loved the Eastern Shore of Virginia, especially Silver Beach. He enjoyed riding the back roads, looking at the fields. He liked meeting up with friends for morning chats at the County Line and Hardees. He never met a stranger, no matter where he was. He gave the best hugs and smiles. Most of all, PC loved his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
