Randall Shaw

Willis Randall Shaw, 89, a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Cape Charles, VA, he was the son of the late Willis Shaw and the late Rosa Lee Costin Shaw. He was a United States Army Air Force World War II Veteran, served in the Merchant Marines, a retired house painter and member of Exmore Baptist Church.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Shirley Hill Shaw of Eden, MD; nieces, Rosalee S. Mauser of Delmar, DE, and Patricia Hart of San Diego, CA; nephew, Norman C. Shaw, Jr. of Eden; numerous cousins; special friends, Rose Ann and Kippy Moore; and his church family. He was predeceased by three sisters, Joan Cox, Barbara Shaw, and Dorothy S. Batson, and a brother, Norman C. Shaw, Sr.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 3, 2017, at 3:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Interment will be private in Cape Charles Cemetery. Family will join friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Exmore Baptist Church, 11624 Occohannock Road, Exmore, VA 23350.
