Raymond T. Floyd

July 24, 1928 — April 2, 2020

Raymond Thomas Floyd, 91, a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. A native of Manchester, TN, he was the son of the late William Franklin Floyd and the late Lilly Alice Jones Floyd. He was a retired citrus grower and member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a sister; five great nieces, Rebecca Defrees and her husband, Eric, of Willis Wharf, VA, Sheila Hill and her husband, Kenny, of Loudon, TN, Linda M. Craig and her partner, David Thomas, of Parksley, VA, Peggy McCluskey and her husband, Kevin, of Virginia Beach, VA, and Karen Parker and her husband, Jason, of Exmore; a great nephew, Travis Stevens and his wife, Lillie, of Universal, SC; and seventeen great-great nieces and nephews, Megan Craig, Gavin Defrees, Kadence Defrees, Zackary Hill, Darrel Hill, Korah Hill, Matthew Thomas, Hunter Thomas, Michael McCluskey, Emmas McCluskey, Gabriel Parker, Lexie Parker, Samuel Parker, Patrick Parker, Isaiah Stevens, Karsten Stevens, and Havana Stevens. He was predeceased by five brothers; three sisters; a nephew, Darrel Craig and his wife, Linda, and a great-great nephew, Charles Thomas.

To honor his wishes funeral services will be private.
